King Kong Lives - Not what you would call great film more of a B movie...but It does have a John Scotts score, and its big a winner. a luscious, Vibrant, Haunting an emotional roller coaster ride, this music soars way above the film it's attached to.
For me this is one of Scotts best scores ever, and is a personal favorite of mine.
Long after you've forgotten the poorly made film, you will remember this beautiful, Haunting and emotional film score.
It is absolutely remarkable when you listen to this score with your eyes closed, that you can feel the emotion's well up inside yourself, making you sad, happy etc. and that is exactly what a great soundtrack is supposed to do.
This is must buy for any serious film score collector
I am glad that I waited to buy the CD soundtrack of the movie, King Kong Lives conducted by John Scott ! I heard that the Vinyl version had some of the movie's sound effects left in on the music. the quality is good although I noticed a dimished presence on some of the tracks. But, I am Not complaining.
