The Yamaha YSL-882IIO Xeno is a professional-level trombone crafted for discerning musicians seeking a rich, dynamic playing experience. It features heavier-gauge brass construction with a thick-walled, fixed yellow brass bell, producing a robust sound with a distinct orchestral character. The open-wrap F attachment ensures consistent blowing resistance, providing a uniform playing feel with or without the attachment. Sweetwater's trombonists find the YSL-882IIO’s large bore delivers a full, mellow sound, making it an ideal choice for classical players. The yellow brass narrow slide combines delicate smoothness with well-defined clarity, offering comfortable playing resistance along with added power and brilliance. The Yamaha YSL-882IIO Xeno’s slightly oversized, 8.66-inch bell contributes greatly to its rich symphonic tonality. This traditional 1-piece bell is built from a single sheet of yellow brass with a continuous brazed seam. Moreover, its thick-walled design lends a more centered quality to its overall sound.
